Our pharmacy team is currently under intense pressure to cope with the increased workload created by the COVID-19 outbreak.
We need to protect both our patients and our workforce and with this in mind we have reduced our opening hours.
The team have been brilliant, working tirelessly under the huge pressure brought by COVID 19, this closure will allow them to recharge the batteries and get organised for the afternoon.
We need to ensure that our staff stay well so that they can continue to keep you well. This arrangement will only be in the short term until we beat this virus!
During this closure period we will also not be answering telephone queries.
Can we also ask that people only call if they have an urgent query, our phone is going constantly and
often the medical practice cannot get through to us because of this.
Finally, can we also ask that people leave 4 days from ordering their prescription to collection at the pharmacy, unless they have ran out of medication.
Again this is a short term measure but it will enable us to process the backlog of prescriptions.
I appreciate that this may be an inconvenience but really appreciate your understanding at this difficult time.
